  • Stopping for a bit of lavender pollen this honey seems to be enjoying the warm weather.
  • Lobby of the West Baden Hotel in West Baden Indiana. Love the old feel here. The soft light, this was the largest domed structure from 1902 until the Astrodome was built. Very interesting history and fantastic light!
  • A Huge thank you to all those Veterans out there! You have been there always to protect America and what it stands for. Thank you to your family's as well for they are what keep you going!
  • My newest orchid popped out today..I thought it would be another yellow but it is this lovely purple speckle..Rainy again here in Portland, I'm sure summer will be here eventually!

  • Well it must be spring in Oregon as it is partially hailing,raining, sunshining kind of a day..<br /> So here is one of my early shots of Yellowstone, I just love the features reflected in the rocks here. What a fantastic spot..to bad it is a giant volcano, set one day to have a giant explosion! But for today, I will enjoy the beauty!<br /> This was layers of rock that have erroded away over the years by the minerals..The sky reflected into it and brought out all these lovely colors...<br /> Thanks everyone!
  • Mt Hood on a clear spring day in April, 2012. appx 11, 250 feet in altitude it has 11 glaciers and is a favorite for mountain climbers. They are expecting another 50 inches of snow up there as well as 50 mph winds..however, you can ski year round from Timberline Lodge!
