  • Last weekend the sunset near Redmond Oregon was spectacular...this was taken around 9:30 PM...Mt Hood is in the distance.this was all natural...taken while driving as we were Very late for dinner...Mt Hood had 52 FEET of snow this past year...still skiing up there!

  • P 51c Mustang one of 1750 manufactured by North American Aviation for WW 2 tours the country attracting many veterans and airplane enthusiats.   • It was a beautiful day in downtown Portland this past weekend for the annual Rose Parade. In Pioneer Courthouse Square they had a floral display of all the continents, with each country a different type of plant. Here is the courthouse with blue sky, yes blue sky over Europe.

  • As we were driving about in the country last weekend we came upon this field of Siberian Wallflowers..They are a glorius bright orange and contrasted with the dark green of the firs really stand out. Have a great Sunday!
  • Last weekend we got out to Horsetail Falls in the Columbia Gorge, as we've had a Really wet winter/spring the waterfalls are running very heavy. The Columbia Gorge is such a beautiful spot, changing every season with something new to show.
  • Ok, here's a sight you don't see everyday..In McMinnville they have put up a new indoor waterpark complete with a 747 on the roof of the waterpark! I think the slides come out from the side of the 747..Looks pretty cool to me...The Evergreen Space & Air museum, has the Spruce Goose as well as all kinds of other rockets and airplanes...about 30 min south of Portland if you want to see for yourself :)
  • Reflections of dinner..While in downtown the other night it was so beautiful the restaurant in an old warehouse had their giant doors up, reflecting the diners below..kind of a fun image...<br /> What do you think?
  • Well it was quite a weekend..started with date night with my husband on Friday downtown Portland...Was a lovely evening with lots of blue sky, as seen reflected in this glass of wine.<br /> Saturday we did a country drive tour, a car show and Sunday we checked out Horsetail Falls...now to catch up!
