Sure enough our dry weather came to an end...well it's only April here in the NW! So was out shooting our first tulip of the season. Thank you for all of your comments! I really appreciate each and every one! Keeps me motivated and focused! :)
Our first tulip that came up today under the cherry trees. Love the pattern on the inside and the color! Thanks for all the comments on the contrast pic yesterday..After a long winter the color really calls to me :)

It's already August at the foot of Mt St Helen's, the bees need to get busy and store up for winter.
The yellow orchid is still going strong, I find trying to get the bright yellow a bit difficult and is seems best under the flash at dark. The underlying green always wants to pull through..but this one glistens..very unusual flowers orchids..Thank you to all for your awesome comments on the vet...Love the works of art.
