At Cannon Beach low tide at Haystack rock left lots of tidepools open for exploration. This beautifully colored anemone with his teal and peacock blue was striking against the babies behind.
"Choices" Well here it is Mother's day weekend and I was trying to decide where we should go...I thought I would check with the "choices" cupboard to help make my decision... Happy Mom's day to all those hard working moms out there...
"Reflections of the past" Looking like a painting, reflections in the red paint of this restored pickup show a country scene, a blue pickup against trees.. Won't be able to post for a couple of days, so wishing you all a fantastic weekend!
Well its not the macro that I wanted but it's what I got..isn't that the case too ofter :). The bees are busy with the PeeGee Hydrangea that is just now starting to bloom..can you say late spring! The crepe myrtle and the mimosa are still waiting..they better hurry or they'll have to wait until next year. Up here in Oregon it has been an amazing summer, with temps in the upper 70's and clear afternoon skies. Remind me of this when I start complaining in January about all the rain. First thanks to all of you for your lovely comments on the swayback barn...they are great subjects with a lot of character! This one is a bit different. we stopped by one of our fav restaurants for Sunday b'fast...they have a glass door that is angled, As we waited for our table I noticed that the lights inside the restaurant were projected out into the street...so although all I had was my Iphone I took this pic... it was kind of funny as the man outside thought I was trying to take his pic and put the camera down when he was looking at me..felt a little awkward..but we all have those days...
Found this rock on the beach, the motion from the waves has it creating it's own hole. Today Oregon is soggy, but we're keeping everything green! Going to Zoolala tonight hope to get some good pics, just never know...
Here's a picture out in eastern Oregon near Picture Canyon in the John Day area. Eastern Oregon is such a contrast to the western wet side of the Cascades. The stark beauty and views are amazing. It does get pretty hot so spring and fall are the best times for roaming around and hiking.
Where'd they go? Or is it Separate paths? It's summer, it's Monday, getting lost at the beach in the sun surrounded by warm water sounds pretty good to me! That's it we're outta here! Love the way the sun glits on the sand. Have a great week!

This one was a graduation gift to 19-year-old Baron Henning von Krieger from his mother, and later went to his sister, the glamorous Baroness Gisella von Krieger, then sat idly in a Connecticut garage for decades before being restored.
