As the sun battles the low clouds in San Diego, a sailing boat catches the last rays poking through the clouds with a backdrop of the Coronado Navy Base and Point Loma.

The hood of this 1928 Ford shows the dreamy reflection of the sky in the chromed hood vents..Love the deep red and the puffy clouds!

The 600 foot Multnomah falls is within 30 minutes of downtown Portland. There is a lovely cafe and restaurant in an old lodge building. In the fall you can even see salmon trying to swim up the creek.
